She was/is embodiment and personification of true love and affection. The feelings of her grand children immediately after her departure is shared.

Ammamma…
It’s hard to even think that there
will be no reply when I call you…
It’s hard to believe that you are
not in C1 when I cross 1st Block!
It’s hard to think that there will
be no answer when I call your number…
It’s hard to accept that you are gone.
You became a kid when you told your
childhood stories,
You became a friend when we
discussed my problems,
You became a mom when I needed
comfort,
You became everything when I cried.

If there was anyone who wanted me to
talk for long hours, it was you
If there was anyone who made curd
and idly the way I wanted, it was you
If there was anyone who wore the
saree that I spoilt with my tailoring skills, it was you
If there was anyone who understood
the importance of my job search it was you!
Your advice made me admire your
intelligence
Your support made me admire your
strength
Your work made me admire your speed
Your life made me admire you in
entirety
You preached that love was the basis
of our life
You practised that all through your
life
You taught us how to share it with
all
You are still teaching us by being
our role model
With loads of love, hugs and kisses,

Your Greatness
- AMMAMMA
Ø First and foremost thing I notice in you is, you always wanted to
look presentable.
Ø I have never seen and will never see anyone of your age, giving this
much of care to their looks, the way of dressing and I just love the way you
have passion towards wearing jewels and new collections of sarees and of course
your spectacles(Without which you will not let anyone to take even a photo).
Ø You have never been partial to any of your children, In-laws or
grandchildren.
Ø You have been kind enough to everyone around you. Not a single
person is hurt by you and you are the only person who taught us to love
everyone.
Ø You have been extremely generous since your birth and your success
is that you have inculcated that to your children and grand children.
Ø Above all I have never seen any one of your age with the latest
updating of knowledge towards a technological invention as you are with your
mobile phone, digital camera, DVD player and above all Tamil Matrimonial.com
(for your grandchildren)

I wanted to go great height in your presence and blessings. But I
failed to . . .

You said that you wish to see me getting married before I lose my

How young YOU are!
The sun never used to rise before
you,
We woke up each morning to your
cheerful face
And generous blessings bestowed from
heart,
Each morning with spirits anew
I used to wonder, "How young
you are!"
Welcoming all with a hot coffee
brew,
It was not just a feast that
followed
But your love and affection to fill
our hearts
Never was this once untrue,
Making me wonder, “How young you
are!”
Your thirst for knowledge always
fresh like the morning dew
I see you writing pages of Hindi and
English
And learning something new each day
With dedication and fervour that we
hardly knew,
I wondered, " How young you
are!"
"Amamma", we all called
you,
You are Mother to your daughters in
law too,
Your care the like of which we have
never seen
You did all one could ever imagine,
Age could never catch up with you.
When I write this I am not with you,
Or is it that you are not there with
us and so I write?
You lived by example, to aspire and
inspire,
Amamma we all love you and YOU will
ever live in us
The sun that never rose before you,
will never set upon you.
